A 100-mm artillery mine was found in the Caspian Sea, the official website of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Friday.
The mine was revealed when an Azerbaijan State Caspian Sea Shipping rental ship, "XAMA-311," was deepening the seabed.
The specialists of the relevant departments of the Ministry immediately arrived at the scene.
The relevant bodies were informed.
The mine was removed for disposal.
