The Turkish reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) ANKA crashed during the test flights, TV channel CNN Turk reported today.

According to TV channel, the UAV ANKA has carried out the first test flight.
The first Turkish reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) ANKA was commissioned in June 2012.

Work to create ANKA has been conducted since 2004. About 180 engineers worked on the project. The UAV is the first independent development of Turkey in this sphere.
