Mass poisoning took place in the city of Ilikhchy in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan. About 400 people, who attended ehsan (charity dinner), organized by a person making a hajj, were hospitalized with food poisoning, FARS agency reported.
They were hospitalized in the cities of Ilikhchy and Osku.
Poor quality food caused the poisoning.
