A pilot of the Armenian airplane, which was forced to land in Turkey's Erzurum, has agreed to land after a relevant warning of the Turkish authorities, Turkish Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Binali Yildirim was quoted by TRT Haber TV channel as saying.
The Turkish authorities have today forced the Armenian plane to land at the airport in Erzurum in the east of the country.
According to the newspaper, the aircraft cargo compartment is being examined.
According to the Turkish NTV channel, the plane was flying to the Syrian city of Aleppo.
