A massive concrete slab collapsed in the centre of Baku at an underground car park which is under construction. One worker was killed and three injured, a statement on the website of the Interior Ministry stated on Friday.
The incident took place the previous day in the Nasimi district of the capital. As a result of the collapse, Baku resident Shahin Novruzov was killed.
Elshan Zamanov, Khanoglan Kosharov and a resident of Khirdalan Bayram Rustamov were sent home after a health check up.
