Twenty seven people were detained in special operations by Turkish Security Forces in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara, the Hürriyet newspaper reported on Friday.
The detained are suspected of assisting terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers Party.
It is reported there are 10 lawyers suspected of cooperation with PKK members among those detained in Istanbul.
PKK militants systematically organise terror attacks against the civilian population and against the country's security forces.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years. The PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and the EU.
