At least six people were killed and seven others were injured Wednesday when a suicide bomber targeted a sports gathering in northern Afghanistan, official said, reported dpa.
The incident took place in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province during a Buzkashi match, Amanuddin Quraishi, the district governor, said.
Buzkashi is a traditional sport played on horseback with the headless carcass of a calf.
Among the injured, the district police chief and his father, were in critical condition, Quraishi said.
