Mud flows have occurred as a result of heavy rains and flooding during the past two days damaging 11 cities in the provinces of Fars and Bushehr, including the cities of Abad, Kazerun, Sepidan, Firuzabad and others, Iranian İSNA news agency reported.
As a result, the infrastructure, roads and homes in these cities were seriously damaged, the report says.
No dead or injured are reported and 20 rescue teams have been sent to the cities to help the population. Rescue work is continuing.
