A photojournalist of Turkish Milliyet newspaper, Bunyamin Aygun was taken hostage in Syria by a group associated with Al-Qaeda, Turkish newspaper Sabah reported on Dec. 17.
It was decided to seek help from the authorized persons of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, due to the fact that efforts of the Turkish Union of Photojournalists to liberate Bunyamin Aygun did not give results, according to the union.
