The information about a possible earthquake in two cities of the Turkish province of Tekirdag caused panic among the population, Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported on May 29.
The municipalities of Malkara and Çorlu cities announced the possibility of a strong earthquake in the area, causing some residents to leave their homes.
Earlier, some 100 people were injured in Canakkale, 15 - in Tekirdag, four - in Edirne.
