Downpours caused mud flows in five settlements of Turkey's north-western Zonguldak province, the country's Milliyet newspaper reported on June 6.
Communication with around 16 settlements of the province has broken down as a result of the natural disaster.
The forecasts say the downpours will continue for more three days.
