The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that on March 9, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire at Azerbaijani troops in the Kokhanabi village of the Tovuz region at 20:20-20:30 through submachine and machine guns. The shots were fired from the Chinari village in Armenia's Berd region.

The Azerbaijani troops answered their fire. No causalities were reported.
