Azerbaijan's concerns over Turkey-Armenia relations is understandable: Kazakh president

"Azerbaijan's concerns over the Turkey-Armenia relations are understandable," Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in an interview to the Turkish newspaper Sabah on the eve of his Ankara visit.

"Azerbaijan's concerns over the Turkey-Armenia relations are understandable. Azerbaijan should be informed about the Turkey-Armenia rapprochement," Nazarbayev added.

The president said peace and stability in the Caucasus will promote positive resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Nazarbayev said he is one of those who are trying to establish peace in the Caucasus and normalize the Turkey-Armenia relations.

The public of the two countries should be informed about these issues, Nazarbayev added.
