Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 11 / Trend K. Zarbaliyeva /

The Azerbaijani State Commission on Hostages, POWs and Missing People checks Armenian media outlets' information with reference to the Armenian Defense Ministry concerning Armenian family's crossing the border from Armenia to Azerbaijan.

The Armenian Defense Ministry reported today about unexampled violation of Armenia-Azerbaijan border on Yeraskh-Nakhchivan, Mediamax said.

The State Commission investigates reliability of the information, the organization told Trend on Monday.

On Jan. 10 at 07:00 p.m, Armenian citizen Yegishe Gevorkyan, 52, with his wife and three minor children (7, 6 and 3) run border barriers by his car Yeraz not obeying Armenian border guards' orders and passed through the territory of Nakhchivan under shots of the Azerbaijani side.

Armenian border guards did not open fire to destruct taking into account three minor children, the defense ministry press-service said.

According to the State Commission's last information, the organization does not have such information.
