As a result of ceasefire violation by the Armenian Armed Forces Azerbaijani citizen Dashgin Aliyev was wounded. A criminal case has been filed on this fact, Prosecutor General spokesman Eldar Sultanov told Trend on Monday.
He said Aliyev was wounded at about 20:00 on Oct. 9. Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from their positions in the occupied Agdere region at the Gapanly village in the Terter region. The village's resident Dashgin Aliyev has been wounded in his shoulder.
The Tartar Region Prosecutor's Office filed a criminal case under Article 29 (Attempt to crime) and 120.2.12 (deliberate murder on motive of national, racial, religious hatred or enmity) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code. Investigation is underway.
