The Hungarian Post Office at the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Budapest has issued a commemorative stamp to mark the 20th anniversary of the Armenian occupation of Azerbaijan's ancient cultural centre in the city of Shusha, told Trend at the embassy.
The stamp depicts the state symbols of Azerbaijan, the flag and coat of arms and the minaret of the dilapidated Govhar-aga mosque and walls of Shusha.
The inscription on the stamp, 'the 20th anniversary of Shusha's occupation by Armenia' made in Azerbaijan, Hungarian and English. In the booklet, in which the stamp is embedded, there is a potted history about the Azerbaijani town of Shusha in three languages and an image of the city devastated by Armenian vandals.
The commemorative stamp is directed to parliaments, political and public figures and media in Hungary and other European countries.
