The Azerbaijani public witnessed both the hysterics of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and the U.S. government on the extradition of Ramil Safarov. President Barack Obama's administration and the U.S. State Department expressed an attitude about the extradition before the Armenian Foreign Ministry. Indeed, this attitude a few months before the election was expected, Center for Political Innovation and Technology Director Mubariz Ahmedoglu told Trend on Monday.

He said there are geopolitical aspects as well in U.S. administration's acting as the "emergency."

"Syrian Armenians in Syria serve U.S. interests. This is evidenced by denial of the Armenian community of the Christian community's statement in Syria about support of Bashar al-Assad. On the other hand, special relationship of the U.S. to Serzh Sargsyan is not a secret. According to the United States, Sargsyan is the only person who is able to tear Armenia from Russia. The U.S. wants to start a conflict that will force Russia out from the Caucasus, by Sargsyan," Ahmedoglu said.

He said the Obama administration's reaction showed new directions in U.S. policy on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement: the conflict settlement is impossible before implementation of the U.S. plans in the Caucasus. Nagorno-Karabakh problem must still act in the hands of the U.S. as a factor in the destruction of Russia. At the time, the United States destroyed the USSR with the direct participation of the Armenians. Completing its mission, and having received an award from Russia instead of the strike, the Armenians again want to pass this way.

In any case, such a reaction of Armenia and the United States, which knew full well about Safarov's extradition, speaks volumes, Ahmedoglu said.

"Such a reaction to the murder by an Azerbaijani of an Armenian amid murder two months ago of major Avetyan by inner circle of Sargsyan is ethno-religious complex of the Armenians. It is this complex that does not give the Armenians to establish normal relations with its neighbors, particularly with Azerbaijan and Turkey. The U.S., instead of treating this ethno-religious disease of the Armenians, use them for their own purposes, and further reinforces," Ahmedoglu said.
