NATO member-countries will further continue assistance to Afghanistan in the framework of cooperation with this structure, Turkish President Abdullah Gul said at NATO member-states' defense ministers informal meeting in Istanbul today, CNN Turk reported.
"Assistance to Afghanistan will continue," he added.
According to him, stability should be restored in Afghanistan as soon as possible and the country should develop from a cultural and political point of view.
