On Oct.25, observers of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will visit Iran to monitor the newly constructed second uranium enrichment plant in the Gum city, Mehr news agency said.
The IAEA observers will monitor uranium enrichment plant soon, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Aliakbar Salehi said at the joint news conference held with the IAEA Director-General Muhammad El Baradei on Oct.24.
Saying that they have informed the IAEA a year ago about this plant, Salehi mentioned that the IAEA should take relevant steps and monitor the plant within its control system.
The second Iranian uranium enrichment plant with capacity of 3,000 centrifuges in the Gum city was revealed during the UN General Assembly's meeting in September.
