Iran is ready for a uranium exchange to provide the Tehran reactor with fuel, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said at a news conference.
"We are still ready to exchange the 3.5-percentage fuel needed need for the Tehran reactor, to a 20-percentage fuel," he said. "We have held some discussions in connection with the form of exchange."
Regarding the information about that the weapons seized by the Thai officials from the South Korean aircraft would be transported to Iran, he said the information is groundless and there is no evidence of this.
According to the official, the Thai authority has not sent any explanation on this matter. They said that these weapons are being transported to a third country and Iran was not mentioned.
He said Iran does not need such weapons and the dissemination of this news is PR against Iran.
