In Kyrgyzstan the polls have opened. Today the inhabitants of this republic will elect a president.
There are six candidates for the place of Head of Kyrgyzstan : existing president Kurmanbek Bakiyev nominated for a second term, the ruling party "Ak Zhol", the representative of the united opposition ex-premier Almazbek Atambaev, another opposition activist, leader of the Ak Shumkar Temir Sariev, a famous physician narcologist Jenishbek Nazaraliev, the only female candidate the chairman of association of non-governmental organizations Toktaiym Umetalieva and the leader of People's Patriotic Movement "Zhoomart" Nurlan Mota.
