Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze met with U.S. Special Envoy for Guantanamo Bay, Daniel Fried, in New York.
The issue on transporting the prisoners from Guantanamo to Georgia was discussed at the "theoretical level", Vashadze told the Georgian journalists.
According to Fried, the final decision has not yet been reached, but in case of necessity the U.S relies on Georgia, as a friendly country.
