Foreign militaries and observers will get familiarization with the airbase located in the Almati region of southern Kazakhstan and service of the landing-assault brigade, the Kazakh Defense Ministry said.
The demonstration will be held on Oct. 25- 30 under the preparation for the Kazakh presidency of the OSCE, in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Document 1999 of the Negotiations on Confidence - and Security-Building Measures, the same source added.
Representatives of the member-countries and partners of the OSCE, the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna, the NATO and the CICA Secretariat will attend the event as observers.
During the event, the participants will have the opportunity to get familiarized with the daily performance of military units and monitor flights of aircraft and parachuting, the source said.
