The meeting between Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania and Ukrainian Ambassador to Georgia Vasiliy Tsybenko was held at the request of Ukraine in the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
According to the press-department of the Foreign Ministry, during the meeting the sides discussed urgent issues of multilateral and bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia, stressed the priority of the strategic cooperation between two countries and importance of the intensity of high-level visits.
The parties also discussed holding of consultations on the 6-th meeting of the joint Georgian-Ukrainian inter-governmental economic commission.
The Ukrainian side stressed its support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
