New swine flu cases in Georgia

Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 3 / Trend N.Kirtzkhalia /

Four new cases of the swine flu were found in Georgia, Georgian Infections Control Center Director Paata Imnadze said today.

In all cases the virus was imported from abroad, including two individuals who arrived to Georgia from Ukraine, one from Turkey and one from the UK.

The infected are presently receiving treatment.

Thirty-one cases of the A/H1N1 have been found in Georgia. Twenty-nine cases were imported.

"We are working normally and do not intend to make any special measures because the measures that have already been taken justify themselves and conform with WHO recommendations," Imnadze said.
