Opening of Upper Lars border place in the Georgian- Russian border doesn't threaten Georgia, the Georgian Minister Grigol Vashadze stated today.
The meeting on the matter will take place at the Security Council at the Christian-Democrats parliamentary fraction's request within the next two days
The opening of Upper-Lars represents threats on the backdrop of strained situation in Caucasus, the Christian -Democrats believe.
The minister confirmed that the Georgia-Armenian and Armenia-Russian meeting was held at experts level through Armenia's mediation. "It was a technical meeting to clear up all sides' positions."
