Deputy police commander of the Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan denied reports on execution of the head of Jundallah organization, Abdolmalek Rigi's brother.
The member executed in the Zahedan city was not the brother of Jundallah leader Abdolmalek Rigi, but has the same name with Rigi's brother, deputy police commander of the Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Mohammad Arab said, ILNA reported.
He said Abdolhamid Rigi, a member of Rigi's terrorist group was hanged yesterday morning in the main prison of Zahedan. But he was not the brother of Jundallah leader Abdolmalek Rigi.
This group claimed responsibility for the bombing in the Iranian province of Baluchestan on Oct. 18, which killed 41 people, including two generals of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
