Swiss diplomat Heidi Tagliavini made a report at a meeting of European Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee this week. The report covered the commission's conclusion on the causes of the Russia-Georgia conflict.
The committee meeting lasted longer than scheduled. Tagliavini presented detailed information about the conflict and answered the questions of MEPs.
Following the meeting, the MEP said the situation must change with joint efforts.
Tagliavini's report was lauded in Tbilisi, with MPs called the European Parliament's conclusion support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
