Iran is interested in expanding ties with neighboring and friendly Azerbaijan, the chairman of the commission on social affairs of the Iranian Parliament Agai Suleiman Jafarzadeh said during a meeting of the committee on social policy of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, the official website of the Parliament of Azerbaijan reported.
"Iran supports the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan," said Jafarzadeh.
Economic, humanitarian and inter-parliamentary ties between Iran and Azerbaijan are at a very high level, said Hadi Rajabli, chairman of the parliamentary committee on social affairs of Azerbaijan.
