Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
Mammadyarov appraised the OIC's activities and expressed his gratitude for the support to Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh, the ministry told Trend .
In his turn, Ihsanoglu praised the work of the Baku conference "Inter-Civilization Dialogue: Views from Azerbaijan" organized by the Diplomatic Academy in cooperation with the OIC. He also appreciated Azerbaijan's important and useful contribution to the inter-civilization dialogue.
Then, the parties exchanged views on the projects within the OIC, increasing the effectiveness of cooperation between the organization and Azerbaijan and a number of other issues.
