GUAM law-enforcement agencies strengthen interaction

A two-day meeting of deputy interior ministers and deputy heads of special service organizations of GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) ended in Tbilisi on Nov.12

The sides discussed joint fight against terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and other topical issues, Georgian Ministry reported

A business plan for 2010 has been developed to strengthen the coordination of law-enforcement agencies. It was decided to improve exchange of information and its analysis.

GUAM held joint operations "Drugstop" and "Interception" (the latter is anti-trafficking) in 2009, and summarized their results.
