On Saturday a presentation of the book "Ali bey Huseynzade Turan" about the designer of the Azerbaijani flag, written by the Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva and researcher Azer Turan was held at Bilkent University in Ankara.
The presentation was attendded by Feyzavar Alpsar, the only daughter of Ali bey Huseynzade. According to her, a publication of the book shows that the ideas of her father alive in his homeland.
Co-author of the book MP Ganira Pashayeva said at the presentation ceremony that the book soon will be published in Ankara too.
Another co-author, Azer Turan, told the audience that he will continue to explore the life of Ali bey Huseynzade.
After the presentation, the discussion on Turkish-Azerbaijani relations took place. It was attended by the Azerbaijani and Turkish politicians, journalists and academics.
During the discussion, MP Ganira Pashayeva said she believes that protocols signed between Turkey and Armenia will not be ratified in the Turkish Parliament. According to her, Armenia does not want to leave the occupied lands of Azerbaijan and in this situation, no one in Azerbaijan believe that the protocols signed by Turkey will be introduced for ratification in parliament.
Azerbaijani MP Rabiyat Aslanova, who also participated in the discussion, said that the development of relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan should be an example for other Turkic countries.
