All parties are ready for a dialogue to strengthen democracy in Georgia, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina Kaidanow declared following her meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri.
"In my opinion both the government and opposition are ready for a constructive dialogue that can be successful," she said.
Kaidanow will take part in a democracy working group established as part of the U.S.-Georgia Charter on Strategic Cooperation.
A U.S. State Department delegation headed by Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Michael Posner will arrive in Tbilisi tomorrow to take part in the group.
