On Nov. 17, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed an executive order establishing the State Flag Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Upon the order, taking into account that the first national flag of Azerbaijan was officially adopted on Nov. 9, 1918, 9 November will be celebrated as the Day of State Flag of Azerbaijan Republic.
The Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of addressing issues arising from this order.
