Upon the order by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Consulate General of the Azerbaijan Republic will be opened in the Georgian city of Batumi, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
To ensure the activities of consulate in Batumi, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan is in charge of addressing the issues of logistics and finance.
The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan is in charge of approving the structure and staff of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Batumi.
