France, Strasbourg, Nov. 25 / Trend A. Maharramli /

An Azerbaijani notebook was published in Strasbourg, Azerbaijan's Permanent Mission to the Council of Europe told Trend today.

The Strasbourg publisher Groupe Bateliers published the booklet Nov. 2. It is an informational English-language notebook with a calendar titled "Azerbaijani Diary."

The publication includes information about Azerbaijani geography, history, monuments, former President Heydar Aliyev, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan's cultural heritage, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, an extract from international documents proving Azerbaijan's ownership of the occupied territories, and a list of public holidays and dates of mourning.

The mission plans to issue future editions of the "Azerbaijani Diary" in coming months. Roughly 500 copies were ordered as a first batch.

The "Azerbaijani Diary" aims to improve the country's image abroad and promote Azerbaijani interests in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The "Azerbaijani Diary" will be distributed to high-ranking Council of Europe and U.N. officials.
