Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on the Independence Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"On my own behalf and on behalf of Azeri people, I congratulate You and Your people on national holiday - Independence Day. I hope that the Azerbaijani-Mauritanian relations will continuously develop and expand in line with friendship and cooperation. I extend You my best wishes and wish You and the friendly people peace and prosperity," congratulatory letter said.
Also, President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the President of Albania Bamir Topi on the Flag Day.
"I express You and Your people my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of National Day of the Republic of Albania - Flag Day. I hope that the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania will continue to serve the interests of our peoples. On this auspicious day, I wish You good health and success and the friendly people of Albania - peace and progress," the letter said.
