Georgia will consider Russian citizens' appeals on granting Georgian citizenship and will solve them as far as possible, Georgian Foreign Ministry Deputy Nino Kalandadze told at briefing today
Alexandr Bondarov, a well-known Russian dissident, and Ekaterina Timofeyeva, who now living in France, filed a petition for Georgian citizenship to the Georgian Government
"The issue of dual citizenship does not concern us. This is a formal process. Everyone has the right to appeal for the Georgian nationality. In such cases, the government considers the issue and solves it as far as possible," Kalandadze said
