Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani will pay a visit to Egypt tomorrow, MEHR reported.
Larijani will attend a two-day meeting of the Committee of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU) that planned to amend the Union's charter.
The IIPU's Cairo meeting held in 2008 adopted a resolution under which the statute should be amended.
Following the adoption of this resolution, the IIPU established a committee under the Egyptian government, which consists of representatives of Turkey, Kuwait, Nigeria, Azerbaijan and Uganda.
The first committee meeting was held at the expert level in Algeria in 2008. The meeting decided to hold the next meeting at the level of heads in Egypt.
