Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 19 / Trend R. Hafizoglu /
Changes that Armenia intends to make to the Constitution will inflict a serious blow to the country's international image, Turkish analyst Suleyman Gunduz told journalists in Baku.
The Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan ordered to develop amendments to the law on international treaties that envisage withdrawal of the signature of the country.
He said that deviation from any protocol is unacceptable after their signing.
"If Armenia does it, then it proves that Armenia is not a supporter of peace in the region," he added.
Turkish and Armenian foreign ministers Ahmet Davutoglu and Edward Nalbandian signed the Ankara-Yerevan protocols in Zurich Oct. 10.
Diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey have been broken due to Armenia's claims of an alleged genocide, and its occupation of Azerbaijani lands. The border between them has been broken since 1993. In addition to the so-called "Armenian genocide" in 1915, Armenia has voiced territorial claims on TurkishAnatolia.
