Azerbaijan and Iran have discussed issues of the military cooperation.
Today, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Safar Abiyev has received Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagir Behrami, the ministry told Trend .
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues of the military cooperation between the two countries. Behrami introduced Iran's new military attaché to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan has signed agreement on bilateral military cooperation with over 30 countries. The country cooperates with about 53 countries in the military sphere.
