Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov invited Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Turkmenistan at any convenient time.
The minister accepted this invitation with gratitude. The sides agreed to define date of the visit through diplomatic channels later.
Recently, both officials have had a telephone conversation, the Turkmen presidential press service reported.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects of further development of the Turkish-Turkmen relations, as well as a number of issues of international and regional policies of mutual interest.
Ankara and Ashgabat reaffirmed the mutual willingness to intensify the productive dialogue established on the base of spiritual kinship and traditional friendship between the peoples.
