Police arrested Iranian citizen accused of drug smuggling in Baku.
Police detained Iranian citizen Anushiravan Jafarzade when selling drug, the Yasamal District Police Department told Trend today.
The officers seized about 300 grams of heroin during his arrest.
In his testimony, the arrested said that he smuggled drug from Iran to sale it in Azerbaijan.
Police launched a criminal case under the Article 234.4.1 (manufacture, acquisition, storing, transfer, transport or sale of precursors for the illicit manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances) and of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
