President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met Wednesday here Slovenian counterpart Danilo Turk, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
They said relationship between the two countries was developing in various spheres.
The Slovenian President recalled his visit to Azerbaijan, saying it marked fruitful meetings. "We had effective talks which laid foundations for our cooperation in a wide range of spheres."
He noted at present, the Slovenian side was actively working on the agreements achieved during the visit.
President Danilo Turk underlined his country was keen to expand the scope of its relations with Azerbaijan.
He also expressed interest in the ongoing economic processes in Azerbaijan, as well as settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the bilateral relations.
The Head of State also touched upon the ongoing talks to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Danilo Turk invited the Azerbaijani leader to his country.
