The Azerbaijani MP proposed to establish Mothers Day.
"Many countries do not celebrate the International Woman Day March 8.I think that we must establish a special holiday - Mothers Day," MP Elmira Akhundova said today.
According to Akhundova, this holiday may be celebrated Apr.28.
"Academician Zarifa Aliyeva was born on this day. So I think that we can celebrate this day as Mothers Day," Akhundova added
"Mothers Day will be our national holiday. This day should be announced as day off," Akhundova said.
