Azerbaijan Parliament made amendments to the Code of Administrative Violations.
"The amendment to article 187-1 of the law envisages responsibility for broadcasters (who violated the requirements of the law), who do not broadcast on their television and radio channel the information on the content the measure of responsibility applied to them within specified period," the chairman of the parliamentary committee on legal politics and state-building Ali Huseynov said on Feb. 1.
According to Huseynov, the amendments and additions envisage fine from 300 to 500 manat for individuals and from 1,000 to 2,000 manat for legal entities who violate the requirements of the law.
