The aircraft with weapon on the board seized by Thai authorities did not head to Iran, Iranian FM official representative Ramin Mehmanparast said today, the IRNA agency reported
"Arm seized in Thailand has no relation to Iran and the plane was not heading to Iran," Mehmanparast said
Thai authorities seized more than 35 tons of arms from a cargo plane which they said had come from North Korea, and arrested its five crew members after the aircraft made an emergency landing at a Bangkok airport in December. Thai officials presented a report on this issue the U.N. Security Council Feb.11. Wall Street Journal wrote that Iran is the purpose of the aircraft. North Korea did not comment on this issue
