A soldier in the Azerbaijani Army has wounded himself with his service weapon.
As a result of carelessly handling his automatic machine gun, a soldier in Military Unit No. N in Agdam, 20-year-old Sadagat Mammadov, shot himself in the leg, the ministry's Press Service Deputy Head Teymur Abdullayev said.
According to Abdullayev, the soldier's health is stable.
Mammadov was called to military service by the Lankaran Military Commissariat.
