The Council of Europe (CE) observation mission's draft report on results of the Azerbaijani municipal elections held in December 2009, is among the key issues on the agenda of the CE Congress Bureau meeting, the structure reported.
The Central Elections Commission (CEC) registered 48,388 observers, including 1,160 local observers and 52 foreign observers to monitor the Azerbaijani municipal election that was held Dec.23.
On the Bureau's agenda is the preparation of the 18th Congress Session to be held in Strasbourg, France March 17- 19, 2010. Members will discuss draft texts concerning climate change after the Copenhagen Summit.
