Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Azerbaijan co-rapporteurs Andres Herkel and Joseph Debono Grech are on a visit to Azerbaijan, the Council of Europe's (CE) office in Baku told Trend . Today the co-rapporteurs traveled from Baku to Ganja, CE Information Office head in Baku Ilgar Ibrahimli reported.
The co-rapporteurs will hold several meetings with officials and NGOs in Ganja.
A decision on the co-rapporteurs' visit was made at a PACE Monitoring Committee meeting in Paris on Dec. 17, 2009.
The co-rapporteurs will meet with the chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament, minister of justice, prosecutor general and CEC chairman, as well as other government and opposition members.
